Road Trip Pt 2: California Beach.

I believe that as my brothers and I are getting older, we are realizing more and more how much these moments and these trips mean to us.

Most memories in life- the beautiful ones that we give our kids, ourselves - are created by following adventures; by getting in a car or a plane with the whole family and just drive, or fly. And pay attention- to the little things and the big things.

The big things like the Ocean and the Sky.

The little things like every single moment that forever will be cherished.

We have always gone camping close to home during Summer- but this was our first time camping far away, and doing a family road trip where even my mom came.

We drove almost 24 hours - had a lot of stops - to Pismo Beach, CA and its cold waters. Yes - sweaters, jeans and gray skies. Gray skies that burnt most of us who got in the water like never before in our lives. I am still peeling and this trip was the last week of July.

But it was worth every single moment.

Every single memory.

Every single smile from the kids. Or the adults. Or the dog that my cousin brought.

Their screams of joy watching and playing with the waves - them and I.

The new friends, connections, friendships.

The walk by the beach and the look at the stars. The sand. The waves. The moon.

The night. And the morning. The silence--- the forever silence that I so much enjoy, and need.

The conversations at night and the coffee in the morning.

Each photograph worth capturing - and sharing.

... more pictures to come,

Paty
